About

In His Steps Ministries

Welcome! We are a Christ-centered organization rooted in the love and compassion of Jesus, offering support, hope, and restoration to those in need. Our mission is to walk in the footsteps of our Savior, as He calls us to reach out to the brokenhearted, the lost, and the weary.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” — Luke 4:18 (NKJV)

Through our various ministries, we extend the hand of Jesus to those battling addiction, those behind bars, and those living without shelter or stability. We believe that no one is beyond God’s love and grace and that His power to transform lives is real and available to all who seek Him.

Addiction Recovery

Every week, we gather to support those overcoming addiction, trusting in God’s power to break the chains of bondage. Through fellowship, accountability, and spiritual growth, we aim to guide individuals toward a life of freedom in Christ. We are reminded of the words of Jesus:

“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” — John 8:36 (NKJV)

Jail Ministry

Once a month, our team visits the local county jail, bringing the Good News of Jesus to those who feel forgotten. We offer Bible studies, encouragement, and a message of hope that in Christ, redemption is possible. We stand on the truth that:

“I was in prison and you came to Me.” — Matthew 25:36 (NKJV)

Homeless Outreach

Each week, we reach out to the homeless community in Orange County, providing essential resources, food, and heartfelt conversations that remind them they are loved and seen. While the world may overlook them, we know that Jesus sees every heart:

“Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” — Matthew 25:40 (NKJV)

Gathering in Fellowship

In addition to our weekly addiction recovery meetings, we come together once a month for a larger gathering at our local church—a time of worship, prayer, and community-building as one body in Christ. We believe in the power of unity and fellowship, as the early church modeled for us:

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” — Acts 2:42 (NKJV)

We are here to love, serve, and encourage, walking “in His steps” as we follow the example of Jesus. Whether you are seeking support, looking to serve, or just wanting to learn more, we invite you to join us. Together, we can witness the transformative power of God’s love, reaching every heart and every life He brings into our path.
