About

How It Began

I never thought my own journey through addiction would result in a ministry to others heading down the same path of destruction.  It wasn’t until I recognized the need to walk in His steps that a complete transformation was initiated in my life.  As I began to be disciplined in God’s Word, I developed a genuine relationship with the Lord which led to the removal of the obsession that had controlled me for so long.  It was replaced with the voice of the Lord penetrating my mind and heart…directing my life and calling me to His grace and goodness and the hope of His will for my life.  And now, God has called me to lead others to this complete transformation that can only be found in His steps… (continue)

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring hope, healing, and restoration through the love and truth of Jesus Christ to those struggling with addiction, homelessness, and incarceration.  Guided by the Word of God (using the foundation of God’s Word), we commit to serve with compassion, uplift the brokenhearted and proclaim the Gospel of grace to all in need.

Our Vision

In a world that’s growing darker by the day, In His Steps Ministries stands on the frontlines–unafraid, unwavering, and unapologetic in our mission to bring the light of Jesus Christ into the darkest places.  We are not a sideline ministry.  We are called to the trenches–to the streets, to the jails, to the brokenhearted, and to the addicted.

Our ministry was founded on the simple but powerful command of Jesus, “Follow Me.”  And following Him has taken us straight to those who are hurting.  Our work is centered around three vital outreach missions:  Addiction Recovery, Jail Ministry and Homeless Outreach.

What We Believe

We believe that there is one living and true GOD, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all things. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 44:8 and 48:16; Matthew 28:19-20; John 10:30 and Hebrews 1:3 and 9:14)…(continue)
